Global conversations on ethical issues raised by cutting-edge science

Kavli Centre for Ethics Science and the Public (KCESP) enables global conversations on the ethical issues raised by cutting-edge science. We believe everyone in society has a right to be part of these conversations on our shared future and that these discussions will also benefit science.

Through academic research and collaboration with creative partners our work aims to 'take the scary out of science' for diverse publics and to enable scientists to reflect on the social impact of their work at a much earlier stage of their research.

We believe that by continually fostering intentional connections between ordinary people and extraordinary science we stand a much greater chance of creating a future that both resembles and belongs to everybody.
