Profile
Julia Anghileri lectured in mathematics and mathematics education on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She worked in partnership with local schools and has extensive experience with both pre-service and in-service teachers. As a writer and editor she has written and contributed to numerous publications in Britain and the USA. In her internationally recognised research she employed a variety of methods including classroom observation use of video for data collection and development of CD-rom for dissemination of research findings. As a consultant she worked for the National Numeracy Strategy (NNS) and for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) as well as a number of Local Education Agencies.
